The world has seen a dramatic shift to mobile in recent years. People are using their devices to connect with friends, families, and things that matter to them – including discovering and engaging with businesses. This is why it’s more important than ever to build a presence on mobile and connect with your customers where they spend the most time.
There are now 70 million active business Pages on Facebook. To stand out and really engage both your current and potential customers, use your Page to connect, communicate, and provide customers with what they’re looking for.
When it comes to chatting with businesses, customers want an easy way to reach out and and they want real-time responses. In fact, there are 2 billion messages sent between people and businesses every month on Messenger. As a business, it can be hard to reply immediately, which is why Facebook created these communication controls:
- The Away Status - This lets customers who visit your Page know when you’re not available to reply. This is useful if your company only responds to messages during certain hours of the day.
- The Away Messege - You can send automatic messages to let customers know when they can expect a response or where to find other information.
- The Instant Reply - Customers who message your Page for the first time are sent instant replies — automatically. This is a great way to let potential customers know that their message has been received and to thank them for reaching out.
- Saved Replies - If you get the same questions over and over again, you can create saved replies for them. For example, if you notice that a lot of customers are asking for pricing for a particular service or product, you can create a response to use later whenever you get a new message with the same question.
These settings can be aadjusted through Pages Manager. as more options develop we will update you on the next blog.
